Our Green school’s committee was established in November 2023.
We are delighted to announce our school has been awarded its first Green Flag for the Litter and Waste Topic on May 25th 2025. We have made huge improvements in regard to reducing waste in our school. Each room in the school has a general waste bin, recycling bin and a compost bin. The pupils and staff are well informed on what goes into each bin. One of the first job that the Green Team Committee undertook was to create a green code. We undertook an environmental and waste audit in our school to identify where improvements could be made. From this audit we drew up our action plan. The action plan identifies targets we want to achieve as well as strategies to achieve the targets. We are making substantial progress in making our school and world a cleaner greener place.
